Hello followers,

I know I have been VERY inactive and that is because I didn’t like where my blog was going. I thoroughly enjoying blogging, but I didn’t like the way in which my blog was going. It seemed to be all over the place. It first began as a way to document my solo travels and study abroad for my family and friends to keep up to date with. It later turned into a lifestyle blog. 5 Reasons to Travel to a Resort

Traveling is a passion of mine. I’ve always wanted to experience the world ever since I was a little kid. However, I’ve never been a huge fan on the idea of a resort. I had always assumed resorts were for leisure and for relaxing. I wanted excitement and adventure. Boy, was I wrong. The resort life is definitely not suitable for everybody, but traveling and exploring countries isn’t either.

Farewell Undergraduate Degree, Time to Celebrate!

How does one celebrate finishing their first four years of post-secondary education? And I say firstfour because like a lot of people, we tend to pursue more than one degree. Most of us do not have a choice in the matter, but it is a requirement. Well, you go to the Dominican Republic, of course! What a silly question to ask! Unfortunately, I didn’t go with any of my graduating classmates or…

Ahhh, Svegnia, Da da bee doo ba dah - Or Something or Other

Around Early to Mid-April of 2014, I had finished my exams. The last of everything. The last paper to be handed in. The last assignment to be marked. My undergrad degree had come to a close. Homemade Sugar-Free Granola

I absolutely LOVE granola. I probably go through a box every other week. I usually eat it with my yogurt or just munch on a bit to satisfy some cravings while dinner is getting made. It’s my guilty pleasure.

I decided, why not make granola at home!? It’s super easy and doesn’t take much preparation at all! The baking-in-the-oven-part is a bit tedious, but the outcome is worth it!

I’m not one for…

Fighting the Winter Blues

Welcome to Canada where it is Spring, but we still have snowfall warnings! Although, I don’t really know the weather conditions for the rest of Canada, so I should say – Welcome to Southern Ontario!

This year so far – in terms of weather – has been brutal! I kind of wish that this year’s weather was last year and last year’s weather was this year. Only because I was in England last year so I…
